Site Rules
1. This is not an
originality contest. You may submit any recipe that is a family favorite,
holds a special meaning for you or any recipe that you believe is good
enough to win the contest. Various "Feature Contests" will be held
during the year. Recipes will be judged
on overall mass appeal. The recipe that has the highest rating by
members during the Feature Contest month
will win first prize. As some recipes will be duplicated, your unique
twist on presentation of ingredients and ease of preparation could be the
deciding factor. All activity on this website is monitored and recorded.
If more than three ratings are received on any one recipe from the same
computer (or person), that persons vote will be discarded. We realize that
in some homes more than one person will be using the same computer.
2.
Feature Contest
Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Entrants must be at
least eighteen (18) years of age. Employees of
Rockin
Recipe Contests , affiliates and
their immediate family members are not eligible. You must have a valid email address in order to enter or win.
3.
Entered Recipes
will be posted in the Cookbook Online for the
duration of the applicable Entry Period (as defined below). You agree that your submission will not
include any material or language that is profane, defamatory, unlawful,
vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasion of another’s privacy,
copyrights or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
Rockin Recipe Contests
in its sole discretion reserves the right to remove any recipe
from its site and cancel your participation in the Contest
if we determine your submission violates any of these conditions.
4. Entry Periods:
Each "Feature Contest" begins at 12:00 AM EST on the first day of the
posted starting month and
ends at 12:00 PM EST on the last day of the posted ending month. Entries received
before or after the eligible time period will be discarded. If it is not
eligible due to the type of contest, it will be discarded.
You may enter the contest as many times as you wish provided each recipe
is submitted separately.
5.
Release and
Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Contests, you agree to
release and hold harmless,
Rockin Recipe Contests, it’s directors,
employees, affiliates and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against
any claim, loss, damage, liability, expense, impairment or cause of action
arising out of or related to your participation in the Contests or your
receipt or use of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for
any illegible, incomplete, damaged or inaccurate entries, and/or entries
that do not comply with these Rules and/or entries submitted by mail or
facsimile. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for entries they
are unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failure
or lost e-mail entries, however caused. To the maximum extent permitted
by law, the Released Parties shall not be liable to you or to any third
party for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your use, misuse,
display, dissemination, replication, distribution, copying or downloading
of Recipes contained on this site, including but not limited to any
indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages however
arising, even if the Released Parties have previously been advised of the
possibility of such damage.
6. Other: Should you
wish to have your Recipe removed from this site at any time, please let us
know by sending an email to us at
info@rockinrecipecontests.com and it will be removed within 10 days.
